Grant an emergency medical visa to Cuban citizen to come take care of her father in the ICU after huge bleeding stroke.

Created by J.L. on February 16, 2016

On 02/07 night my grandfather suffered a large intraparenchymal hemorrhage, which is essentially a stroke with a very large bleed in the brain. He had to undergo an emergency surgery to try to save his live. The doctor has explained that he did everything he medically could to save him, and right now it is up to him. My aunt, his daughter, requested a non-immigrant medical emergency visa at the Embassy in Havana, and it was denied. We reached out to Sen. Marco Rubio for help, but he was not able to change the embassy decision. Our family needs help from the White House to request a humanitarian visa, so that my aunt can come over and help her brother, and my grandfather through this hard time. She is even willing to sign any paperwork that legally binds my sister to return to Cuba.
