Grant equal rights to gay and lesbian servicemembers to include the same benefits as heterosexual couples.

Heterosexual couples are granted benefits such as Basic Allowance for Housing, On base provided housing, health care, child care, adoption assistance, life insurance, family separation pay, employment assistance and for dual military couples an assignment program that attempts to station couples within a 75 mile radius. Some of my Soldiers are not given the same rights that me and my wife are granted and find this to be a horrible double standard on their chosen partners and FAMILIES. Force the Department of Defense to accept these non traditional couples and give them the same rights as their heterosexual comrades.
