A petition for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community. This includes equal marriage rights for all genders and sexualities, equal pay, and illegalizing discrimination in the hiring process because of a person's gender identity or sexual orientation.
Also, for the issue of gender expression, add a space on driver's licenses for a person's pronouns and/or gender-fitting name. Keep their legal name, as it is used for their criminal records, but add a place for their name that they feel expresses their gender identity.
For example, if a person's legal name is "Ana," they identify as transgender, and their preferred "gender-appropriate" name is "Matt," allow a space on their driver's license.
