We, the Federal Employees, respectfully request December 31st, 2013 to be granted as a paid Holiday to be spent with our families. It's been a really tough year with several furlough days and even a government shutdown. The uncertainty alone was enough to leave emotional scars of a process that was nationwide and we still bear the effects of it. As a way of being sympathetic to all of us workers that have even providing our services without being paid our performance appraisals, an additional holiday would bring back the faith in our system.
