Federal employees have had Columbus Day as a paid holiday for years now and most people feel Columbus was undeserving of a holiday. Employees would much more appreciate the day after Thanksgiving instead of Columbus Day each year. Please considering replacing Columbus Day since the day after Thanksgiving would be a greater asset to families so that they can spend more time with their family and friends.
