Grant a full pardon to all persons arrested for production and sale of medical marijuana in states where it is legal.

Created by T.L. on March 03, 2014

In 2011, Robert Duncan was arrested by federal agents while working in a legal California medical marijuana dispensary. Although he was only an employee at a place of business that complied 100% with state medical marijuana laws, he will serve two years in federal prison. There are hundreds, if not thousands of people like him. People who were complying with their state's laws regarding marijuana, but were arrested and charged with federal crimes. This is a gross miscarriage of justice and needs to be rectified. If President Obama feels it right to commute the sentences for people unfairly jailed for crack cocaine offenses, it should follow that those who are unfairly jailed for federal marijuana offenses while complying with state law, should be treated the same.
