Grant a full presidential pardon to whistle-blower PFC Bradley Manning.

Created by E.S. on August 04, 2013

Whereas PFC Manning:
1) acted in the interests of the American people by informing them of misconduct perpetrated by US forces and contractors abroad, and only after finding no redress in bringing his concerns to his chain of command;
2) neither aided the enemy, nor caused harm to sources named in the Wikileaks files;
3) has already been imprisoned for 3 years, during which time he suffered a year of isolation and other treatment labeled "cruel and unusual" by the UN special rapporteur on torture;
4) faces 136 years imprisonment, having been convicted of 5 counts of espionage merely for acting on his conscience;

We the undersigned call on President Barack Obama to grant a full presidential pardon to PFC Bradley Manning, in consideration of his noble intentions and time already served.
