Grant funds to The Ocean Cleanup in order to aid in the cleanup of plastic debris from the world's oceans.

The world's oceans are in critical condition. Millions of tons of plastic are in the world's oceans, and in some areas, there is 6x as much plastic as there is plankton.(UNEP 2005) The Ocean Cleanup (http://www.theoceancleanup.com) has created a technology that, if implemented, could remove almost half of the plastic from the oceans in 10 years. If government grants are donated to the organization, it would allow for the technology to be implemented much sooner than if it was left to continue the way it is, and this would help us all.
