Grant furloughed Department of Defense employees access to military base commissaries on Furlough Fridays.

Created by W.J. on June 12, 2013

It appears the furloughs are inevitable. DoD employees will be furloughed one day a week. Military commissaries are planing on Monday furloughs while the majority of DoD are going to take "Furlough Fridays" Since we're forced to take a 20% reduction in pay, being able to save money on groceries and household goods would be a good will gesture from the administration. Also, the additional revenue for the commissaries might negate the need for their furloughs entirely.
It's not much to ask and both the commissaries and furloughed employees will benefit.
