Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business founded 40 years ago in August, 1972. Like many small businesses in America, they had humble beginnings - the Green family started their company in a garage with a $600 bank loan. Today, Hobby Lobby is one of the USA's largest arts and crafts retailers, and the Greens are proud to have more than 500 locations in 41 states.
Unfortunately, the Greens and their company will suffer under the new health care mandate - PPACA. Although they are more than happy to provide their employees with health insurance, they do not want to provide coverage for contraceptives due to their religious convictions. The Greens want to continue living the American Dream, but doing so shouldn't mean violating their religious beliefs and freedoms.
