Piers Morgan, a British citizen who works for CNN, is one of the few nationally known figures in America today to take a public stand against the "gun lobby". He has had the guts to call them out for their mean spirited behavior, and nonsensical pronouncements, during this national crisis of senseless slaughter of innocents by assault rifle toting murderers. The response of some of those who wrap themselves in their minimal understanding of the full wording of the Second Amendment, and the intent of the Founders, is to call for his deportation from the USA. This petition instead calls for granting him honorary U.S. Citizenship as a meaningful reward for his courageous behavior.
