Grant immunity for prosecution to anyone who take steps necessary to safe a child locked in a vehicle alone.

Created by D.K. on July 08, 2014

Daily, many cases occur where small children are left alone in vehicles during periods of extreme hot or cold, which are ptoving deadly to these innocents. Reporting the situation to the proper authorities can sometimes be too kate to help. In a situation where death and or injury to the child is imminent, steps should be taken, under Good Samaritan rules, which permit a passerby to break a window safely, to aid the child. Such an act may be punishable in certain states, so a federal mandate granting immunity from proscution should be drafted.
