GRANT INDEPENDENCE TO PUERTO RICO.

Created by A.C. on January 13, 2013

Never, in its 500 years of history, have Puerto Ricans had a chance to FREELY elect its OWN government. The governor has always been appointed by the King of Spain and later the President of the United States of America. It was not until 1948 that the people of Puerto Rico could elect a colonial leader, but not a head of state.

The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico cannot remain the way it is. The problems the island is facing need to be fixed by a government that is present 24/7 and a government that is for the people and not for corruption. The two main political parties of Puerto Rico only attack each other and do not work together for a better Puerto Rico.

The time has come that Puerto Rico become the Republic of Puerto Rico and create it's OWN government and it's OWN laws.
