Recently, John Oliver took a position regarding Brexit on behalf of the 'Remain' party. Unfortunately, the 'Leave' party won and have decided to move the country toward xenophobia and bigotry. Because of Oliver's international publicity and outspoken stance, he could be targeted by English extremists. The threat of person due to political beliefs is protected under the 1951 United Nations Refugee Convention.
We the people implore that the White House grant John Oliver asylum and refugee status to protect him from refoulement.
