Leonard Peltier's clemency application has been filed with the Office of the Pardon Attorney, U.S. Department of Justice.
Leonard's 1993 application for clemency was denied by George W. Bush as one of his last actions as President in 2009.
Leonard has been in maximum security confinement for over 40 years for a crime he claims he did not commit. He is suffering from a life threatening medical condition that requires better treatment than he is receiving in prison.
It would be wrong to allow Leonard Peltier to die in prison. We the people humbly plead you grant him clemency so that he can be reunited with his family.
