Grant Leonard Peltier his parole or pardon.

Created by K.C. on January 25, 2013

Leonard Peltier is a Native American who was convicted of the deaths of two FBI agents who died during a 1975 shoot-out on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. His conviction was questionable due to many errors during his trial.

The Eighth Circuit Court has ruled, "There is a possibility that the jury would have acquitted Leonard Peltier had the records and data, improperly withheld from the defense, been available to him in order to better exploit and reinforce the inconsistencies casting strong doubts upon the government's case." The retrial was denied, anyway.

He currently suffers from many health problems. Mr. Peltier has served over 35 years in prison for a botched FBI trial. Please release Leonard Peltier now so that he can spend whatever time is left to him among his people
