"Lone Survivor" Marcus Luttrell successfully evaded Taliban capture after a compromised special operation. He was aided by a village elder who protected him from the Taliban despite death threats and bribes. After being flown to the U.S. for the release of the incredibly popular "Lone Survivor" film, he returned to Afghanistan to more threats from senior Taliban officials. After risking his life to protect one of our most highly trained warfighting assets, we owe him protection from the very people who wanted to kill Mr. Luttrell. Grant this man asylum in the United States and show him the same respect he showed our now celebrated US Navy SEAL.
