People like me who came to this country legally, people who've followed the rules, are being frustrated by the slowness in granting them Green Cards. I for one have had my case adjudicated (Eb3 category), & to the best of my knowledge, my I-485 has been approved. I am not able to obtain an official result from USCIS because there are no visa numbers available and the Visa Bulletin moves ever so slowly, moreover regresses from time to time. USCIS fees have gone up over the years but there is apparently no greater expediency in processing because of visa # restrictions. It'd be better if in the mean time the USCIS could grant stamping of temporary 'Green Cards' in applicants passports thus allowing them to work freely until they get their permanent green cards. More visa numbers please!
