Grant Mr. Mohammad Gulab U.S. Asylum.

Created by K.K. on January 19, 2015

Mr. Mohammad Gulab has been credited with saving the life of retired U.S. Navy SEAL Mr. Marcus Luttrell from Taliban fighters, as depicted in the movie "Lone Survivor". In June 2005, Mr. Gulab stumbled upon Mr. Luttrell at a waterfall near his home in Afghanistan. Mr. Luttrell was the only survivor of a four-man recon team that had been ambushed by Taliban fighters, and was suffering from gunshot and shrapnel wounds, as well as a broken back. Mr. Gulab took Mr. Luttrell into his home and protected him until U.S. reinforcements arrived. Today, Mr. Gulab is facing regular death threats from the Taliban for his heroic act. He and his family are now living in an undisclosed country, hopeful that they will be granted U.S. asylum so that they can, at long last, live in peace.
