Grant NASA funds for the Commercial Crew Program to expedite the end of reliance on Russia for Space Station transport.

Since the retirement of the Space Shuttle, the NASA has been reliant on Russia's Soyuz to send American astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). In 2007, NASA paid $719 million dollars for 15 seats, and has just signed another contract worth $753 million for 12 seats. Even if the recent developments in Ukraine didn't happen, we need to keep the money and spend it here in America, creating new, high-tech, well paying jobs. But now that we know Vladimir Putin's true intentions concerning the United States and Europe, it would be wise not to rely on such an individual for transportation the the ISS. We need to invest in the American companies who are working on orbital independence: SpaceX, Sierra Nevada Corp, and Boeing by allocating the funds for this program that NASA requested
