Grant our fellow American citizens living in Puerto Rico the right to vote for their own President of the United States!

Created by J.T. on December 10, 2012

All American citizens should have equal voting rights in our nation. Unfortunately, your fellow Americans choosing to declare residency on the island of Puerto Rico continue to be banned from voting for their own President of the United States. To be clear, current U.S. law pertaining to the territory of Puerto Rico bans ANY American residing there (Hispanic and non-Hispanic alike) from participating in the presidential vote beyond the primary voting process. This injustice is also playing out at the United Nations for all the world to see. It is time that our U.S. Congress ENFRANCHISE legal American citizens by granting full and equal voting rights to your countrymen. They've taken this action before via constitutional amendments #15, #19 and #23. Stand up for your fellow Americans!
