Please grant a symbolic "pardon" to cannabis and decriminalize its use, possession, and transportation for adults over the age of 21. Adequate research data exists that demonstrates its positive medicinal benefits, and numerous well respected medical and scientific opinions concur. In addition, recent polls also show that the majority of the American people support its legalization and taxation. Mr. President, please decriminalize this plant and let the individual states regulate, tax, and oversee its sale and manufacture. The resultant additional tax revenue can be used to solve some our nation's larger challenges. In your own words "We've got bigger fish to fry".
