Three teens were convicted of a 1993 triple homicide. No plausible evidence was presented to convict any of them. To become free, they had to enter an Alford Plea, accept guilt, and accept 18 years incarceration as part of the deal. Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin, and Jessie Miskelley, jr were not subject to an impartial court, and denied fair and equal treatment under the law. Jason Baldwin wishes to get a law degree, but is limited by his conviction. A pardon could aid him in his quest for a degree and ultimately help him clear his name. The West Memphis Three need the chance to gain exoneration based on the evidence.
