We the people of Puerto Rico who in November 6, 2012 voted to petition the US congress for statehood hereby petition for the right to vote for the president of the US. While our petition of statehood will be discussed and decided in congress, The right to vote for the president has been defined as a natural right by the supreme court and should not be subject to the colonial or non-colonial status of the island which contain more than four million US citizens.
