According to the Convention on the Rights of the Child of 1989, the "Dreamers'" rights have been violated for years. They were deprived of dignity, of the right to identity, the right to a nationality, the right to education, the right to a decent standard of living, the right to health.
In addition, the Convention defines a child as follows:
“[...] a child is any human being below the age of eighteen years, unless under the law applicable to the child, majority is attained earlier.”
Therefore, all the "Dreamers" who were brought to the USA before their eighteenth birthday, and regardless of their current age or education, should be granted NOT temporary BUT permanent residence at once.
