The African Community Development Corp. is sending this special petition to President Obama and his administration to issue an executive order to grant permanent residence status to Certified Nurses Aid workers from Ghana, Kenya and other Sub-Sahara African countries that have proven remarkable democratic process of governance and the rule of law.
Currently, there are nursing aids working in nursing facilities and home care across the country who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to serve our seniors, even though most of them are documented, some of these workers are out of status. Such benefit to reinstate their immigration status will foster positive work attitude among these low income families as they continue to serve our our seniors through the golden years.
