Grant PFC Bradley Manning a pardon for his criminal charge of Violating the Espionage Act.

We, the people who sign this petition, believe that PFC Bradley Manning, not only shouldn't have been sentenced to the prison length that he received, was leaking information to the free press that he felt would put the American people in touch with the consequences of what it means to go to war. We believe that his intentions were not to put our troops in danger or to give enemies key strategic information. We believe with all earnestness that he was unfairly punished for his actions and hope that sources for the free press are not sent to prison whether they be military, civilian, or political. We hope that the President that spoke out against the Iraq War would also grant freedom to a brave soldier that also spoke out against it.
