WHEREAS United States citizen Antoinette Tuff is an employee of the DeKalb County School District of Georgia, and
WHEREAS on August 20th, 2013, Michael Brandon Hill entered the Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy very heavily armed and ready to kill, and
WHEREAS Antoinette Tuff performed an exemplary deed for her fellow citizens by using kindness, love, and understanding while at mortal risk to successfully calm down Michael Brandon Hill and talk him into surrendering peacefully to the authorities, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that we petitioners memorialize President Barack Obama to bestow the Presidential Citizens Medal upon Antoinette Tuff.
