grant a presidential pardon for the wrongful conviction of Sr. Megan Rice, Greg Boertje, and Micheal Walli.

Created by D.J. on August 27, 2013

3 protesters of nuclear weapons were convicted by the US attorney general of terrorism. They admittedly cut a chain link fence and painted anti-nuclear slogans on government property. They were ultimately sentenced to 35 years in prison for terrorism. This is a travesty of justice and must be rectified. They should receive an appropriate punishment for misdemeanor trespassing and vandalism; exactly what they admitted to doing in open court! These 3 senior citizens, (Sister Megan is 82, Boertje-Obed is 57, and Walli is 63), have been railroaded by the US Attorney and deserve a fair sentence. Please sign this petition to President Obama to correct this insane verdict and either pardon these 3 or reduce their sentence to something that is actually appropriate.
