U.S. Code, Title 18, Part I, Chapter 37, Section 793(f) "Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information" and Section 798, in its entirety, "Disclosure of classified information", provide for clear public law, solidified by Executive Order 13526, Part 4 "Classified National Security Information - Safeguarding" which was signed by President Obama on December 29, 2009. Every individual specifically acknowledges the provisions of these documents and is therefore responsible for adherence and accountable for their violations. All individuals previously convicted under these statues should be afforded the same application of the law, regardless of position, especially where the Federal Bureau of Investigations has not used equal standards in the determination of criminal charges.
