Bradley Manning was first arrested in May 2010, for aiding the enemy through releasing a series of military cables to Wikileaks.org.
Manning has suffered considerable mental and physical injuries while in detention, and very little transparency has been given on the case.
Many see Manning as a hero, others as a traitor. No matter how you see him, he deserves his right to a speedy and public trial, as guaranteed by the 6th amendment of the United States Constitution.
