All Americans, regardless of age, should get the rights included in the Bill of Rights, right? Well, unfortunately there is an infringement on student's 4th amendment rights in our public school system.
School students are often to subject to unreasonable searching of their personal items without reasonable cause.
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
Students are being searched without warrants and without probably cause. We petition the Obama Administration to prevent these unreasonable actions.
