Grant the purple heart to those who have suffered or are suffering from PTSD.

I as a veteran with PTSD, wish to petition the President of the United States to consider bringing forth a resolution to grant those with PTSD the Purple Heart. Combat wounds shouldn't be resigned to physical wounds. Veterans are committing suicide at an historic rate. Granting the purple heart would make those who suffer silently the recognition that they are hurting, and to seek help and not be ashamed for admitting they have a problem.
