grant refugee status to citizens of the Donbas and Crimean regions of Ukraine who are fleeing war and persecution.

Created by A.C. on July 27, 2014

Ukrainian citizens in the Donbas and Crimean regions are fleeing violence and threat of death in their homes. As such these people should be given the opportunity to be treated as refugees and given opportunity for asylum here in the United States. They have no where to go and are being relocated by Russia to desolate Siberian areas. The US should treat these victims as Jewish refugees, Vietnamese refugees, and Bosnian refugees were previously treated as well as the way Cubans fleeing their country are treated today. Grant these children asylum in the United States for their own safety.
