Grant a "Reprieve" to Nick Bertke, an artist from Western Austrailia, so that he may enter the United States of America

Created by T.H. on December 10, 2012

Artist Christopher Nicholas Bertke (aka "Pogo") is a world renowned musician, having done commissioned works for Disney/Pixar, Microsoft, Google and others.

He is neither a Citizen nor a National of the United States, and while performing his works in 2011, was deported from Buffalo, NY on 2011Oct6 as a "nonimmigrant with unauthorized employment in the United States", resulting in a prohibition from entering the US for a period of 10 years.

The conditions leading to the violation of "Immigration and Nationality Act", were naivete, and while that is no excuse for touring without the right visa, the penalty is far too harsh in this case.

Mr. President, I implore you to use your powers under Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution to grant a "reprieve" for this prohibition.
