The Romeike family came to the US in 2008 seeking political asylum from Germany where they fled in the face of religious persecution for homeschooling their children
They wanted to live in a country where they could raise their children in accordance with their Christian beliefs.
The Administration has rejected in giving asylum, claiming that homeschooling is only a privilege--not a right.
