In May, 2013, USMC veteran Wen Jones witnessed a group of men bullying a teenage boy on Juno Beach in Florida. The strength of character that led him to volunteer for the toughest branch of the military would not let him stand by. As a result, he saved the boy but was brutally beaten himself. We hereby petition President Obama to grant this hero a special commendation for conspicuous bravery in the face of extreme danger.
