Grant Special Immigrant Visas to Afghan translators who assisted U.S. and NATO forces during the war in Afghanistan.

With U.S. and NATO combat forces set to withdraw from Afghanistan in 2014, translators who assisted said forces during the war are coming under increased threats and danger to themselves and their families from the Taliban for their efforts. This petition seeks to grant Special Immigrant Visas to those individuals who helped the U.S. led war effort and saved countless lives while doing so. Many of these individuals meet all the requirements for Visas but have been held up for months or even years due to bureaucratic red tape.
