Grant the state of Arkansas the right to legalize and regulate marijuana with laws similar to alcohol.

For years now the prisons have been filling up with people charged with marijuana related offenses. The public has been misinformed about this so called "drug." Studies have shown that marijuana is less harmful to the body and to the lifestyles of the people than alcohol. It is time we legalize marijuana and regulate its consumption to those at least 21 years of age. This would create jobs, generate a massive tax income that could be used to better our state's school systems, roads, etc. It will also clear up space in the prison systems for sex offenders and violent criminals who deserve to be detained from the public.
