Grant the State of California to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government.

With the Federal Government's size increasing beyond what our Founding Father's intended, its abuse of power trampling State rights and constitutions, and the forcing of unconstitutional laws over its own citizens, the people of California assert their sovereignty and request opportunity to vote on leaving the Union. The Federal Government is derelict in its Constitutional duties to California, has imposed policies on California that are not in California's interests, and we as citizens would respectfully and peaceably separate ourselves from a tyrannical Government who care nothing about creating a sustainable future for our children. Should the Federal Government cease imposing on the Constitution and threatening the liberties of California citizens we might vote to rejoin the Union.
