Created by Z.K. on January 12, 2016

Brief description: Steven A. Avery was born on the 9th of July 1962. He is an American man from Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He served 18 years in prison for sexual assault which he did not commit. He was exonerated in 2003 due to the emergence of DNA modernisation. In 2007 he was once again imprisoned. He was found guilty of committing the murder of Teresa Halbach and sentenced to life in prison without parole. He has been denied an appeal of his case several times, despite the fact that there is strong evidence indicating he is innocent. He has exhausted his legal options and is now lacking a lawyer. He needs our help now more than ever. For more information please watch the Netflix series- Making A Murderer. Thank you for reading and I encourage you to sign this petition.
