This petition is to simply draw attention to the fact that donations to individuals are taxable, and there are potential losses from taxes to the extraordinary and generous donations to the Boston bombing victims. Those signing this petition are requesting a review by the Federal Government to give tax-exempt status to donations made to victims in this tragedy, so that they may get all the needed assistance that was intended for them, and hopefully be made as "whole" as possible.
