Grant Veteran Status to former Iraqi soldiers, who worked with the U.S. Army as Arabic interpreters

During Operation Iraqi Freedom, many Iraqi citizens joined forces with men and women of the U.S. Army. They helped by using their knowledge of the English language,by translating Arabic to English, according to whatever was necessary to complete the mission. Already, the U,S. government has awarded these men the opportunity to apply for a Special Immigration Visa "SIV" to resettle in the United States, and apply for citizenship in this country. My hope is, once they become a U.S. citizen, they can also be awarded Veterans status. These men sacrificed a lot when they went up against the Saddam regime. Not only were their lives at risk, but, also the lives of their families. Some of them lost their lives, or the life of a family member, Please grant them Veterans Status.
