The point of the petition is get Veterans the correct educational benefits. Sometimes a college that a Veteran can get into is far away. Because of this factor not many residence live in the area. This creates an unnatural low income zone. For attending the college the Veteran is paid based on that unnaturally low income bubble. My proposal is to pay Veterans their educational benefits based on established residency. Wherein the Veteran can use the currently living address, as long as they have lived there for 1 yr or the residence used when enter military service, whichever applies based on current residency. By paying based on an unnatural low income zone this creates financial hardships on the veteran that is meant to be handled by the VA educational benefits.
