Grant a visa to Ana Verdin-Hernandez so she may return to the United States and her husband and family.

Grant a visa to Ana Verdin-Hernandez so she may return to the United States and her husband and family.

Ana Verdin-Hernandez is an undocumented immigrant who was brought to the US as a child. She married Gerardo Herrejon, a US citizen, in 2008. When she returned to Juarez, Mexico in March 2012 to apply for a visa, she was rejected when the consulate official decided the marriage was a fraud.

Ana may be kept in Mexico for as much as ten years, unable to return to her husband and her family.

It is obvious from the Los Angeles Times article (link below) that this is a loving couple and their marriage is legitimate.
