Pete Doherty, founding member of The Libertines, an influential British band, as well as solo artist and founder of Babyshambles, has a large fan base here in the USA. He cannot tour here, as he has been refused entry (in spite of a valid visa) into our country in 2010, assumedly due to problems stemming from his use of drugs around that time in his life. As drugs are no longer an influence in his life, we petition the White House to grant the visa and entry of Mr. Doherty so that US citizens who are fans can attend and enjoy his music live.
