Grants to Modernize Matching Children to classes using knowledge & teacher-specific rather than age-specific classes

Created by S.S. on March 31, 2014

Processing children through school is the same as 150- years ago. Grade Retention, a prime cause for dropouts, is an artifact of this archaic processing by age-groups up & down guarded hallways to classes that ignore differences in learning interests & styles. Knowledge can now be accessed through multiple devices from the www. Children interested in specific topics can be united with teachers and students in virtual locations via social networks. Competition is enriched when children & teachers (knowledge shoppers & providers) can via the internet before signing up. Classes can be shorter & more specifically defined, allowing for reduced class-sizes & more focused teacher time..Computer algorithms can streamline flow, allowing real-time tracking & minimizing unplanned student interactions
