Green and Libertarian party ballot access in all 50 states + allow to participate in presidential debates

Created by B.M. on July 20, 2016

With historically disliked candidates in both major parties the overwhelming majority would prefer other options. Despite having two viable major third parties, the Green & Libertarian parties do not have access to the debates without first reaching 15% in polls. These debates are necessary to spread awareness and reach higher poll numbers. It is undemocratic to not allow individuals to vote for these parties in all states. Currently less than half of the states have ballot access for the Green Party with only one additional state allowing individuals to write in the candidate. People have the right to not only be aware of their options but also to vote for the candidate of their choice. Debates should be open to both major 3rd Parties & anyone in any state should have the option to vote.
