This petition is made to raise awareness to the horrific and very real assault and murder of Voice Star and YouTuber Christina Victoria Grimmie in June 2016, and to help increase security at events like Meet-ups and tours so that things like this never take place again. Christina had her entire life ahead of her, and it was a good life. This young woman didn't have an ounce of hate in her body and stole the nations heart the night that she passed on. Had we had only $1,000 more for her final tour, Grimmie could have been here today, supporting her fans and setting an excellent example for young people today. But she is not here, so to honor her, lets increase security for artists on tour so that we can continue to support amazing roll models, and so that Christina will not be forgotten.
