All US employers must provide legally employed peoples with PAID sick leave (e.g. 2 weeks a year or more with a doctor's note, at regular wages). This will prevent people from coming into work sick because they Have to, thus preventing the further spread of illnesses/germs.

Also, new mothers must be provide with At Least 12 weeks of PAID maternity leave to help with the bonding between mother and child and to help promote breastfeeding, which will help lower healthcare costs. Fathers must receive the option of one week (or more) of PAID paternity leave also to aid in the care of the child.

Anyone discriminating against pregnant women for hire should face federal punishment.
